Mountain View Country House has an Art Studio and Gallery on the property and is on the Midlands Meander route, where there are many things to see such as art galleries, pottery and weaving workshops, craft studios, a health hydro, country pubs, wine cellars and a brewery.
In close proximity there are excellent golf courses, trout filled dams, horse riding trails, restaurants and pubs.
Ideally situated for day trips to the various scenic areas in the Drakensberg Mountains.

Accommodation BED AND BREAKFAST ACCOMMODATIONOur luxury guest rooms with en-suite bathrooms, have separate entrances and an outside patio. They also have underfloor heating, electric blankets, television (including M-Net), a bar fridge and tea/coffee making facilities. FULLY SELF-CONTAINED LUXURY COTTAGESAccommodation can be provided on a Bed and Breakfast or Self-Catering basis.Each cottage has an open plan lounge/kitchen/dining area and a large covered veranda with views of the Natal Midlands and the Drakensberg Mountains. There is an open fire place and television including M-Net in the lounge, one double bedroom with en-suite facilities and one twin bedroom with en-suite facilities. All bedrooms have underfloor heating and electric blankets. Our cottages are serviced daily. Directions# Travelling South on the N3 Highway
Do not take exit 146 i.e. Mooi River North off-ramp.
Take exit 143 i.e. Mooi River South off-ramp at the Mooi River Toll Plaza. At the top of the off-ramp turn right over the N3 Highway. At the T-junction turn left onto the R103. Mountain View is approximately 7kms along the R103 on the right hand side.
